Software Engineering
Architecture and delivery for web applications, APIs, data pipelines, and deployment infrastructure.
Senior engineering judgment, carried through to implementation.
Architecture, applied AI, and product delivery for early-stage and growth-stage teams.
01 · What We Do
Architecture and delivery for web applications, APIs, data pipelines, and deployment infrastructure.
Model evaluation, retrieval systems, LLM integration, and workflow automation. The work starts with the task, the available data, and a measurable reason to use AI.
Architecture reviews, technical due diligence, build-versus-buy decisions, and fractional CTO support. Recommendations include the reasoning behind them.
Technical programme leadership for work that crosses product, engineering, and operations. Plans, risks, decisions, and delivery remain visible.
02 · How We Engage
Build, operate and evolve are three different commitments. Each model prices them separately, and each names the point at which the arrangement changes shape.
Full ownership of the technical function, taken as equity, for a founder building without one. A named transition point converts the operating commitment instead of leaving it open.
Build to an agreed definition of done, then operations through stabilisation and a scoped handover. Documentation and runbooks are deliverables, not an afterthought at the end.
The engineering function, retained rather than hired. Capacity is agreed in advance, and maintenance and new work stay separate lines.
Direction and review for a team that has engineers. Priced by the day or as a short advisory grant, with no on-call obligation attached.
03 · Product Work
Our product work keeps the advisory practice close to implementation. These are the systems currently being developed, tested, or deliberately parked.
The one who handles QA.
A QA platform that turns expected behavior into a test plan, runs browser checks, and reports where observed behavior differs. Development is currently parked.
A workbench for mechatronics projects.
An open-core workbench for mechatronics design, build records, and operational data. It is being developed for hardware teams that need one auditable project history.
Designed in Ghana. Offline operation is a product requirement.
An open-core edge AI benchmark that records latency, energy, and environmental telemetry on real hardware.
Publishing and attribution for founder-led blogs. Callabash sends posts to supported channels and records attributed reads, shares, and conversions when the channel exposes them.
A mentorship platform for universities, alumni programs, and other organizations. It supports matching, shared goals, and program-level engagement records.
Application monitoring for seed-stage through Series B teams. Ruby, Node, Python, and Go SDKs feed plain-language health summaries and alerts.
04 · The Founder
Founder, Agoo AI
I build software infrastructure and AI products. My fifteen years in engineering leadership include growing Edmodo's engineering organization from three people to thirty. In that work, I learned to ask what technical problem sits behind the business problem and what evidence would resolve it.

05 · The Name
In Ghana, "Agoo" is called before entering a home or when asking a group for attention. The response is "Amee": you have been heard and may continue.
I chose the name because good technical leadership begins by stating the problem clearly and arriving prepared to discuss it.
The name reflects the confidence to announce yourself without mistaking volume for substance.
